What a pleasure to have found this Seiko Prospex Automatic Diver's King Sumo PADI Special Edition SPB325J1 with a 50% discount. The best deal this year for buying a watch. However, for this price level, in my opinion, it would deserve the 8L35 with the SPRON specifications which is an original Seiko alloy. Used for the mainspring and the hairspring, better resistance to tearing, corrosion and wear. This special alloy in the 8L35 gives the caliber greater precision and a long service life. Another ultra positive point is the sapphire crystal which is not put on all Seiko, even high categories (Seiko uses Hardlex which is certainly better than mineral, but when you do a lot of sports activities the risk of scratches with Hardlex is still more delicate than sapphire). So for my PADI everything will be fine and for a long time. Super comfortable and soft bracelet. Only small downside and the pin buckle a little too wide and especially the metal support with the Seiko logo to hold the end of the bracelet once attached. Somewhat disturbing in this metallic material. Ok for the look but not practical in the long run when worn. If the size of the 45 mm watch can be dissuasive for some it remains in the standard of divers. Difficult to read a dial of 38 or 40 underwater.
