8. Note regarding the transfer of data to the USA
For the sake of completeness, we would like to point out to users resident or domiciled in Switzerland that surveillance measures are in place in the United States by American authorities. These measures generally allow the collection of all personal data of individuals whose information has been transferred from Switzerland to the USA. This data is collected without distinction, limitation or exception depending on the use made of it. There are no objective criteria limiting the US authorities' access to the data or restricting their subsequent use to specific and narrowly defined purposes that might justify such intervention. We would also like to point out that there is no legal possibility in the United States for the persons concerned in Switzerland to access the data concerning them, to correct incorrect information or to obtain the suppression of this data. At the same time, there is no effective legal protection against general access rights on the part of US authorities. This legal and practical situation aims to inform the persons concerned so that they can make an informed decision about consenting to the use of their data.
For users residing in an EU member state, we would like to point out that the European Union considers the data protection standards in the United States to be inadequate, partly due to the points described here. If we state in this privacy policy that data recipients (such as Google) are based in the USA, we ensure that our partners have appropriate safeguards in place to protect your data, either through contractual agreements with these companies or by confirming that these companies are certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield or the Swiss-US Privacy Shield.

Please note that we may, at our discretion, request proof of identity in order to process your requests.
10. Data security

We retain information from contracts for longer periods of time in order to comply with legal retention requirements arising from various accounting and tax regulations. According to these guidelines, business correspondence, concluded contracts and accounting documents must be kept for up to 10 years.
